Tina

February 2nd, 2012

Tina was found on the side of a busy highway after being hit. She was blind in one eye and could barely see out of the other and had very few teeth. We picked her up off the street and rushed her to our local vet. We though she would be euthanized, but Dr. Garett did his magic. He said her pelvis was crushed and wanted to operate. She was always a fighter and showed amazing courage through all of this. Six weeks later he called and said she was ready to go. He did not want to send her to a local no-kill shelter because he said she would “get lost” and no one would want to adopt her. I decided to take her home and see how she got along with the Frenchie’s. As you can see…she is doing great! Although she is Heartworm positive and very old, she is having the time of her life.

It’s amazing what a little TLC and a good diet will do for a dog!
